CHINA-TIBET-DRAK YERPA (CN)
Photo taken on April 6, 2014 shows a scene of Drak Yerpa in Dagze county of Lhasa, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. Drak Yerpa, located at an altitude of aroudn 4,000 meters, is one of the fanes constructed under the order of Songtsen Gampo, the 7th century Tibetan king, as a gift to his concubine, which later became one of the four main retreat monasteries in Tibet. Famous for its integration of grottos, Drak Yerpa consists of a monastery and more than 80 meditation caves.[Detail]

The Potala Palace in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, on October 11, 2013. This ancient architectural complex is considered a model of Tibetan architecture. Located on the Red Hill in Lhasa, Tibet, it stands at 3,700 meters above sea level and covers an area of more than 360,000 square meters, measuring 360 meters from east to west and 270 meters from south to north. The palace counts 13 stories and is 117 meters high.[Detail]
Wuyuan county in Jiangxi Province is famous for the large pieces of rape flowers. But in fact, it becomes more poetic when autumn comes. In late autumn, Changxi Village is shore with deep and vivid tints. The maple trees growing in the front and back of the village turn to burning red. The tall trees contrast finely with the Mau Tou Wall (Horse Head Wall). The red maple leaves, white walls and black tiles blend into a unity, making a unique sight in this ancient village.[Detail]
